Keanu Reeves's critics can't help it if the man has a big fan base and has one of the most watched movies even if they say he can't act. In line with the Oscars, the critics of Keanu Reeves says that "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee" should have been nominated in the Oscars for the Best Casting award.
They said that the move to pick Keanu as Robin Wright Penn's laconic, obtuse, and slightly wooden lover in the movie is the easiest choice, if not the best. And that the casting director deserved the award.

Charlize is not really happy these days, not when she and her boyfriend of 8 years Stuart Townsend recently broke up. Last February 15, a day after Valentine's day, broken hearted Charlize is out partying with friends and co-stars, two-time leading man Keanu Reeves included in the guest list.
In the party, Charlize is not a shred lonely, especially not if she's around best friend Kathryn Bigelow and best male buddy Keanu Reeves. Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron shared the screen first with Devil's Advocate and then for Sweet November.
It was Charlize who threw the party for their film The Hurt Locker. The dinner was held at Phillippe in West Hollywood. The party ended at 8pm but Charlize is not in a rush to go anywhere and stayed until 10pm.

Keanu Reeves flew to Australia to grace the premiere night of Street Kings. He walked the red carpet along with other Australian celebrities who came by to watch the film, namely Jade MacRae, Jason Dundas,Jamie Wright, and Nathan Snapsford. The gala was held at the Greater Union George Street just last night.
Incidentally, Keanu Reeves' new movie, Henry's Crime is about a man wrongly accused by cops about a bank robbery, a crime that he didn't commit. This time around, Keanu won't play a cop but he will be bullied by one. Keanu Reeves was cordially greeted by fans and he returned the favor by graciously signing autographs for them.

After more than 10 years since it was released, movie goers still think that The Matrix is still one of the best action movies of all time. Moviefone.com had recently done an online survey asking surfers to vote for their all-time action movie. Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark topped the list. Keanu Reeves' The Matrix came in next. This only goes to show that this film is still better than most of the action movies made after it.

Keanu Reeves is still in New York doing Henry's Crime. And since he's around, he's almost spotted everywhere. Always the shy type on the cameras, Keanu doesn't really want lots of people taking his photo whenever he goes in or leaves from an establishment. These shots are taken just outside Bowery Hotel as he makes his way to a car parked outside.

Director Nicolas Refn is bowing out of Keanu Reeves' Jekyll. He does so in favor of helming a film starring Ryan Gosling. The director said that his new film would start anytime soon and when the Jekyll staff may need him for that one, he won't be available.
Whoever would replace him in the Keanu Reeves version of Jekyll, no news is around yet. The film is still in pre-production stages as Keanu is working on Henry's Crime right now, which is almost in completion.

Rumors have it that even if the judge has dismissed the paternity case filed by Canadian Karen Sala against Keanu Reeves, she's still not resting her case. Sala is filing tons of petitions and motions to reverse the judge's ruling. And the lawyers of Keanu Reeves are still at it, answer back all the allegations that the woman is throwing at them. Keanu Reeves is sued by Karen Sala for abandoning her children which she claims he has fathered.
If this is going to continue, Keanu Reeves has to serious consider filing a suit against her, as she's already doing lots of damages to him. And this isn't just financial-wise. Keanu's a movie star. Though negative publicity is still publicity, he doesn't need things like this to make him even more famous. If anything the case is starting to be a nuisance to him and his career.

There used to be a buzz about making a film about the notorious gangster Johnny Stompanato. The film's working title is simply Stompanato and it is supposed to be a biopic. Keanu Reeves will play Johnny while Catherine Zeta Jones was slated to play Lana Turner, Johnny Stompanato's partner.
However, news has it that the film project is canceled. While Catherine Zeta Jones is still Lana when the film comes around, Keanu Reeves is believed to have bowed out of the role. Too bad. This could be a big film for him too.
