Will Keanu Be Effective for Cartagena?

The movie buzz is so great that Keanu will replace Clive Owen for Cartagena. No problem with the role. Keanu can definitely pull off the cop thing like he did in Street Kings - despite what critics say. The only problem would be Keanu's Caucasian bod.

Keanu is going to play the part of an undercover agent who will infiltrate the illegal drug operations in Cartagena, Colombia. The biggest question would be on the film's realistic flavor.

How can Keanu's skin color, him being white of course, gain the trust of an international Latin drug lord? This is indeed something that the film would have to work on. Clive Owen, on the other hand, has bronze skin. He's fit for the role. Wonder why he has to be replaced in the end?

Even so, Cartagena is going to be one great treat for all Keanu Reeves fans. Hope the movie will push through.

I don't think it's so much as the skin color that affects a person's ability to adapt somewhere.

White or not, it should be a good movie if his charisma is as good as it was in constantine and street kings.

The only real issue is what the critics would have to say.
