Reshoots of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" Began Yesterday

Keanu Reeves' new movie, "The Day the Earth Stood Still", is a movie that was shown in 1951. Fox recreated it and made it more modern. The story line is basically the same, where Keanu will play Klaatu, an alien arriving to Earth not to destroy it, but save it from an imminent destruction.

While the movie already has a play date, it is still in the post-production works. In fact, re-shoots were scheduled yesterday and may last to a week. Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly are back on the set to film some segments and scenes of the movie again.

The movie is set for release in all conventional theaters and IMAX theaters worldwide on December 12. The film is released by 20th Century Fox.
